Eragon by Christopher Paolini

Hi, this is Bennon, one of Brighton's younger brothers. I am going to tell you about a book I read recently that I really enjoyed. It is all about dragons, friendships, and rebellion.

Eragon is a wondrous tale about a simple farm boy who becomes the first Dragon Rider for hundreds of years. free from the evil king, an evil Dragon rider who is determined to rule all the land, and who hunted dragons to near extinction. Eragon is the main character in this story. He finds a blue dragon 's egg, that he mistakes for a stone, while hunting for his foster dad and brother. He tries to sell the egg to the villages  butcher but The butcher's wife died in the same mountain range that Eragon found the "stone" in so he refuses. Later, during the night the "rock" hatches and a special bond is created between Eragon and the dragon. When Eragon is looking for a name for the dragon, he goes to the village story teller, Brom, who tells stories of the age of the Dragon Riders. While there, Eragon has the most surprising encounter, the dragon starts speaking to him through his mind "speaking" one word, Eragon. Brom give Eragon many dragon names, but the very last name seems to fit her the best, Saphira. They start on long journey with Brom and have many adventures. This is a fabulous book and it may seem long, but it is totally worth it.
